Munzereen had clear expectations – she wanted a makeup look that was not heavy or overly bridal."
Navin continues, "Munzereen requested no foundation, no artificial lashes, and certainly no hair extensions. So, we embraced her natural beauty and relied on our expertise."
The makeup process began with a color corrector to address any blemishes and red spots, followed by a pigmented moisturizer. "Tinted moisturizers are typically not known for their long-lasting coverage – that's usually the role of foundations. However, since Munzereen preferred a lighter touch, we compensated by diligently preparing her skin."
Munzereen's skin was exfoliated and then generously moisturized for optimal sebum control. Navin confidently asserts, "Well-moisturized skin helps control sebum, so we placed great emphasis on that aspect. This approach had worked wonders for her akhd look, and we were confident it would yield the same results this time."
For her cheeks, a peachy liquid blush was applied to impart a natural flush. "We refrained from using powder blush, as it would have added an extra layer that Munzereen did not desire. The blush shade harmonized with her lips – a subtle mauve nude lipstick that provided a defined, even hue to her naturally pink lips."
To enhance Munzereen's eyes, a warm brown eyeliner was used, complemented by a wash of cool-toned brown to maintain a neutral, natural appearance while adding depth. "We applied generous coats of mascara to achieve a striking effect, as lash extensions were off the table," noted Navin. "The outcome was a pair of sparkling, expressive eyes that spoke volumes."
